Summers in Kefalonia (June until September) are hot with average temperatures of 28°C (82°F), and rainfall is rare. The hottest months are July and August, which are also the driest. During summer, the water temperature sits in the mid 20's which is perfect for splashing around in the ocean or partaking in the various local water sports, but cool enough to provide relief from the hot sun.
