Mantzavinata village has always been the centre of the wine villages, producing different kinds of wine in contrast to the rest of Kefalonia, such as Vostilidi, Tsaousi, Mavrodaphne and Moschato. The name of the village comes from the Italian words "manga" and "vino" meaning food and wine. This might give you an idea what is the festival about. In addition, the locals and the Italians help make this great fiesta unforgettable!
