Zest @ xi beach

The Zest is located at the resort of Xi. This area is famous for the unique red sand beach which is less than 500 metres away. The sea is shallow, safe and clean and therefore ideal for families with children. The beach is also known for its natural clay which serves as an excellent body mask.

The taverna on the beach serves local dishes, fresh fish and offers great service making it popular with the locals as well as the tourists.

The Zest is turning into a very popular tourist resort as it is as yet unspoilt and quiet, but close to the liveliness and activity of the beach.

From the airport, go towards Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. This a port town, from which there are regular ferry services across the bay to Lixouri. The ferry crossing will take around 30 min.

From Lixouri, take the main road going south to Xi.  The Zest lies six kilometres away, around a 10 minute drive.

On the way to Xi is a small village called Mantzavinata, where one can buy fresh local produce. In the village, take the junction to Xi. Follow the road going towards the sea, and the accommodation is opposite the Mercury rent-a-car office.
