The Black Fir got its name from one of the most magical and famous elements of the Island, the Kefalonian black fir, a unique type found only on Mount Ainos, which is the symbol of this Island.

The Salty Rocks room owes its name to the rocks on the far and less approachable sides of the Island, where only the angry sea waves come visiting, creating small ponds filled with salt.

The White Rain has been named after a peculiar phenomenon. When it is raining, the falling raindrops acquire a soft white colour; when seen against the blue of the sea, it almost appears magical.
