Volidiera opened in the year 2008. It has been constructed in the middle of an estate filled with olive trees. The estate lies in the Havdata area, one of the traditional villages of the island. The village is situated about 5 km away from the island's second biggest town, Lixouri, and about 35 km from the capital, Argostoli.

Driving up to the village of Havdata is a magical experience.

Take the main road from Lixouri, following the sign to Havdata. Drive for about 5 km through the winding road leading up to the top of the hilly area. The view is stunning.

In the village, you will reach a T junction, where the village store is located. Turn to the right and drive along the road. The guesthouse is clearly visible from the road.
