Kipouria Guesthouse

The location of this guesthouse is spectacular. It is located on the west coast of Kefalonia, 13 km from the largest port town, Lixouri. The Monastery of Kipouria is less than one km away, a 20 min walk from the house, as is the famous beach of Platia Amos.

The nearest village shop is only four km away. The local taverna is a five minute walk away and it serves fresh local produce all day.

Being on the west coast of the island, the landscape is rugged and wild, adding a special appeal. The guesthouse is surrounded by small goat farms.

From the airport at Kefalonia, car-hire facilities and taxi services are available to the capital, Argostoli, which is a port town. There are regular ferry services to Lixouri from Argostoli. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes.

From Lixouri, guests should follow the sign to the small villages. Havdata is the nearest village to Kipouria, and upon following the road, guests will reach the Monastery. The guesthouse is situated just one kilometre from the monastery, on the right hand side. It is only a 20 minute drive from Lixouri.
