Ionian Emerald Resort

Karavomilos is a seaside village close to Sami town and main port. Ionian Emerald Resort is located in the middle of the village by the sea overlooking, Ithaki, Sami port and the open sea. The village is well-known mostly because Melissani Lake is found here. Also the village has taken its name after the water mill that connects the small Lake with the sea. The Karavomilos Lake is created from the underground water coming from the other side of the island, Katavothres, going through Melissani Lake and ending up back in the sea in Karavomilos.
