Horse riding in Livadi

While in Lixouri you might feel like spending a cool morning or afternoon in the saddle of a fairy-tale-like, down to earth nevertheless, horse. Your guide and coach will be Sylvana herself, also a trainer capable of "taming" any apprehension  you might have about riding a horse, only to show you scores of beautiful sights away from the string of hectic automobiles, rented or not. Your search for an hour in nature at the rhythm of a horse's walk, starts from an already charming location. In the shade of the olive grove neighbouring the sea, the proud equines await to show you another side of Paliki. During the ten years since the foundation of the Kefalonian Riding Club "Kefalos", the horses that represent it, have long agreed, in order af arrival and upon thorough training, to their freedom-like captivity and "indulge" to whichever daily routine. They contemplate the world from their genuine oasis of well-being, found by sheer luck, not at all eager to leave for more than what it takes to make a living by hacking near by, for at the most several hours.
