George Molfetas Museum Hotel

All the rooms have private bathrooms with either baths or jet-showers. The central heating is backed up by wood burners in four of the rooms. There is air-conditioning in all the rooms. The furniture is authentic, handmade and belonging to the period 1790 to 1950. Each room is unique and represents a different passion of the poet as well as the present owner.

This room is like a maisonette, built in two floors. On the first floor you will find more the sitting area and a single bed as well as a rest room. On the second floor there is a double bed and a rest room with jet shower. The window opens to a Van Gogh-esque view of the village among the olive groves and a brush stroke of the sea in the horizon.

Armonia is a room which features a regal 1840's French mahogany bed, a majestic dark oak wardrobe, a desk sette and an armchair, in a wedgwood blue and white colour scheme. a white enamel wood burner enhances warmth.

The room has a black reinforced iron bed of the 1820's.  There's an organza sky and an open plan shower for the daring. A cast iron furnace will keep you warm in winter, while the room's location, right where the cellar used to be, ensures privacy and natural coolness for the summer.

Euphoria is a treasure house. If you feel at home amongst books, an old wine press, and a piano, then Euphoria is the place for you. 

The room is also ideal for newly weds, private parties or meetings, as the bed is elegantly hidden behind white curtains, on top of the fringes of the wine press. This room will fill your heart with a warm, rich feeling.

The hotel seems to be a veritable homage to travellers from the past.  Suitcases with pre-war hotel labels from around the world, photos and paintings from many years ago, antique furniture and a white enamel wood burner are reminiscent of the old world.
