Cephalonia Palace Hotel
Xi beach lies to the south of the Paliki Peninsula, on a special landscape of hills with Argyle, vineyards and olive trees. It stretches for a length of four km, and is only six km from the centre of Lixouri. The deep red colour of the fine sand gives the beach its distinctiveness.
Families with young children will find the place ideal as they can leave their little ones to swim and build castles on the sand. There is a great variety of excellent food at very good prices served in the tavern, Dolphin, just above the beach.
Youngsters will enjoy the cafes, bars and water sports. A small piece from the argyle hill, when used as soap (mud bath), leaves the skin feeling amazingly soft.
The hotel's location on the beach offers lovers of the outdoors the opportunity for long walks.

From the airport, head towards Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. This a port town, from which there are regular ferry services across the bay to Lixouri. The ferry crossing will take 30 minutes.
From Lixouri, take the main road going south to Xi. The hotel lies six kilometres away, and will be reached in about 10 minutes.
On the way to Xi is the small village of Mantzavinata, where guests can buy fresh local produce, wine, honey and seasonal fruits. In the village, take the junction to Xi. Follow the road going towards the sea, and Cephalonia Palace Hotel will be found on the right.
