Cephalonia Palace Hotel is situated in an unusual landscape of grey-clay hills, olive trees, vineyards and the deep red sandy beach of Xi. The atmosphere is calming, and the hotel has been designed to blend harmoniously with its natural surroundings.

Cephalonia Palace Hotel offers all the comforts of a four star hotel with excellent service and food. The rooms are on three levels and can be reached mainly through outdoor corridors overlooking the colourful gardens. The warmth of the personnel and the Evangelatos family who own and run the hotel contributes largely to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The hotel has been recently renovated, and all the rooms upgraded with modern furniture and fresh, warm colours. The bath tubs have been lined with marble. The rooms have coffee-making facilities, a small fridge, radio, satellite TV, A/C and a safe.

The hotel provides many activities both within its premises, and outside. Guests are advised to contact the reception for details. Some of the facilities have a small extra charge. Services such as dining at the hotel's restaurant can be arranged with the reception even for those who are on Bed and Breakfast basis. All extras can be signed for locally at the main or pool bar, reception, or the gift shop as the case may be. Joining the animation team in any of their daily activities is free.

Activities outside the hotel such as horse riding, sailing or diving can be arranged at the reception. The providers are the Carpe Diem network, which conforms to all necessary safety standards.

The hotel has a main restaurant where guests may enjoy a rich breakfast and fruits, sweets, a variety of coffees and all other goodies that might be expected at a four star hotel. At night guests can opt for the buffet with a large variety of all the courses, and a cooking show station.

The Dolphins Restaurant by the beach is the perfect place to enjoy a lunch of local dishes like moussaka or Kefalonian meat pie as well as regular fare like burgers and chips.

Late check out is available free of charge all through the year, except during the peak season. During the peak season, late check out will be subject to availability and at an additional cost.

No fee is charged for cancellation prior to 30 days before the confirmed arrival date. Any cancellation made between 30 and 15 days results in a charge of 30 % of the cost of the stay; between 15 and seven days results in a charge of 50 % of the cost of the stay and cancellation less than six days before the confirmed arrival date results in a charge of 100 % of the cost of the stay.
